Silverline X Hoof Trimmers are a heavier duty and larger Hoof Trimmer than the original Silverlines. The X blade is the exactly the same as the Silverline blade so the durability and sharpness is the same reliability you have received for years with the Silverline. The X are 1 inch longer with a larger handle than the Original Silverline. These were designed to compete directly with the ARS hoof trimmers.

- Silverline X Hoof Trimmers are ideal for regular use on goat and sheep for trimming and cutting hooves. They stay ultra sharp, longer than any other trimmer when used on hooves. Hundreds of satisfied goat breeders will agree that these are the absolute BEST hoof trimmers on the market!
- The rubber inlaid handle is designed to provide an excellent grip so they don’t slip! They are comfortable so that they may be used for extended periods without fatigue.

I have Nubian dairy goats, 17, for now. My husband and I are in our 50's, this is a hobby. These trimmers let us get all the goats done in a week. Trimmer takes big bites of hoof. Can not recommend enough!
Best trimmers we’ve used thus far
I have been an ARS hoof trimmer fan for almost 15 years, and when Jason showed me the prototype for the new Silverline X trimmer I was intrigued. However, getting them in my hands showed me that my beloved ARS trimmers have truly met their match.
The Silverline X has such a balanced and comfortable feel....hefty enough to mean business, but also not heavy enough to give you hand fatigue. They fit my hands well (I dont have little hands) and the spring is enough to make it easy to open and close.
The blades are extra sharp and mean business! they trim easily and cut through even the hardest hooves on a cold winter's day.
My favorite part is the latch on the bottom, that folds up out of the way. That was always my biggest complaint on the ARS trimmers is that the little catch latch would work its way closed during use, necessitating my stopping and re-opening it. The Silverline X latch folds up and no chance of that happening.
You've done it, Caprilite--probably made me a new favorite hoof trimmer!
Very durable gets the job done easily and the best host tremors I've ever used. I first trimmed go to and 1975 and these are the best trimmers I've ever got my hands on
I have used them several times now. I like the extra weight over the regular Silverlines. The pointed tip is useful in cleaning those crevices. The longer handles provide the needed leverage to clip those tougher hooves. Kudos to the Capralite Team, great design.
