High quality product replacing a part which broke during my mishandling of it from my five year old horse fly trap.
I got the Horse Pal when it was first developed and the screen assembly used a metal screen that held up for years. I was disappointed that it is now plastic.
Thank you for your review. We do understand the concern and thus: This new material is a thick UV-Resistant PVC coated polyester mesh and actually works better than the previous metal. Its manufacture is much easier and provides a more consistent product while maintaining the reliability of the trap. We can assure you that the integrity and the durability of the trap will not be compromised from this new material.
