HORSE PAL®
Horse Flies, Deer Flies, Yellow Flies – Reduction and Control
Whether they are biting your horses or your children in the pool, they are delivering a very painful bite. Until the HORSE PAL® there had been no commercially available way to effectively reduce their numbers. Insecticides don't work. These flies are strong fliers. As soon as the insecticide settles down, new flies arrive and the problem is renewed. The HORSE PAL® biting fly trap is constantly on duty, attracting the biting flies in the area and capturing them. The trap is environmentally sound. It requires no smelly or messy baits. The only care required is occasionally removing the capture bottle and dumping out dead flies.

Notes:
- Trap placement is very important. Move it to different locations to find the best spot. If trap stops collecting, move it again. Sometimes only a few feet helps.
- Needs full sun to heat the ball. Overcast or rainy days it may not perform well
- Not too close to other objects such as buildings, vehicles or trees.
- Ball must be hanging freely in order to 'swing'
- Weather effects traps ability on many levels. **Outside of "fly season" for your area you may not catch anything.
*This is a marathon not a sprint. Sometimes it will catch dozens right away, others it may take time to attract them due to all the factors above. Find the right spot! If the right spot works for a while, then not, move it to other places where the flies will be. That means it's doing it's job and needs a new location to catch more.

Had to replace the black ball with my own black boat fender. Valve was defective and we could not inflate.
We would be glad to send you a replacment valve since you had a problem with that one, please reach out via our contact page. We are glad the trap is working for you.
Love my fly trap. This is the third one I have purchased over a 20 year period. Looking forward to catching a lot of flies this season!
This does not seem to attract and capture flys like others have said.
Note: Trap location, weather and 'fly season(activity)' play an important role in capture. Have contacted customer to assist but awaiting response during customer's convenience.
We have been using a Horse Pal trap on our farm for 9 years. Short of physically swatting horse flies, it's the only thing that has worked. We recently upgraded to a total of 3 Horse Pal traps to provide better coverage for the horses on our acreage.
Within 30 minutes it already had 6 horse flies! Worth every penny
